Embedded fuzzy logic for controlling pH and nutrition in hydroponic cultivation

Abstract The uptake of plant nutrients causes nutritional imbalances in hydroponic recirculating systems. Generally, the biological parameters nutrition solution systems are regulated by pH and that affect health; thus, they must be monitored managed. In order to solve this issue, a fuzzy logic-based automated control system for intelligent hydroponics was developed. This paper describes implementation logic controllers into monitoring system. method produces controlled first gathering data real time. is created using following steps: design, prototyping, testing, assessment. system’s input consists TDS sensors, which used detect plant’s nutrient content pH. output 4-channel relay coupled 4 small pumps raising level (pH up), reducing down), delivering AB mix. inference engine employs combination Min-Max Mamdani techniques. Defuzzification performed centroid technique. embedded library (eFLL) an auxiliary Arduino IDE. developed mechanism makes appropriate selections about management level.
